The Poweboat & RIB Show is highly active in seeking and creating all media opportunities to not only promote the event itself but also its prime features, including world and European product launches. In the past, RIBEX has attracted a very healthy crop of product launches including those made by blue-chip companies such as Yamaha, Scorpion, Suzuki, Williams and Honda. Besides the promotion given by our own newsstand magazine, Powerboat & RIB, we expend on extensive advertising campaigns in leading marine magazines both here in the UK and abroad a well as benefiting from having our own dedicated marketing department responsible for driving all on-line and electronic forms of media. In addition to e-media, we gain extensive page coverage in the regional press and newspapers and work closely with regional radio and TV, often forming media partnerships with such entities. Besides the promotional opportunities available to us via the activities of the Gunwharf Quays show site itself, media promotion is coordinated and worked thoroughly by our leading PR consultants, Carswell Gould of Southampton. It is this successful combination then of pro-active show organisation/promotion coupled to award winning PR consultancy that has delivered hundreds of thousands pounds worth of press and media coverage for The Powerboat & RIB Show, one of Europe’s most successful marine events.
