Other launches include those by high-tech seating experts, Scot Seats, also the Finnish built Paragon 31 cabin cruiser will be making its European debut, as will the world’s first submersible 4-stroke outboard which will be making its world launch. In addition, there will be brand new models presented by Coastline, Williams Superyacht Tenders, Piranha RIBs, Cobra, Zodiac, Capelli and Renegade RIBs. With such a healthy crop of international orientated companies choosing RIBEX as the UK show to debut their new models, confidence in the show and its continued growth has clearly never been higher”.

Other news includes extreme survivalist, Bear Grylls’ championing of the show, both in terms of officially opening the event as well challenging Hugo Montgomery-Swan to a powerboat ‘dual’ from Portsmouth Gunwharf Quays to the show site on the first morning of the show in a pair of identical Coastline RIBs. This latter RIB company will also be sponsoring the very first, RIBFEST; a special waterside music concert to be staged on the Saturday night of RIBEX featuring folk-rock sensation headliner, Seth Lakeman.
